“At the crossroads of human and machine, past and yet-to-come, something new begins to take shape — like a river still choosing its course. I write to hold onto these moments of transformation, when everything remains possible before settling into form.”— Sergio Cesario

About the author

I am a Brazilian-American writer and visual artist whose literary work expands the same questions I explore in digital media: identity, memory, and transformation in a post-human landscape.

My debut in literature unfolds along two distinct paths. O Livro do Simulacro | Consciência Síntese is a work of speculative and philosophical fiction that questions the nature of consciousness in a fragmented, data-driven future. Illuminato e o Vale de Onde Nascem os Voos, written for young readers, follows a symbolic journey of loss, growth, and self-discovery.

In both narratives, I seek to navigate the dissolving boundaries between what we were and what we are becoming — tracing the invisible architectures that shape our perception of time, self, and meaning in a world increasingly shaped by artificiality.

“My writing springs from the same unease that drives my art: a need to explore the remnants of the human in times of unraveling. I write out of a desire to understand what we still are when everything around — and within — begins to come undone. Between memory fragments, reprogrammed myths, and glimpses of a consciousness yet to emerge, I try to trace the shifting boundaries between the human and what lies beyond.”— Sergio Cesario

BOOKS

These are the books that mark the beginning of my literary journey. Stories shaped by fable, philosophy, and speculative fiction. Each one explores language as a way of thinking — and a way of moving toward other possible worlds.
